Jack L. Goodman, 83 years of age, of Oakboro, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015, at his residence
Jack was born November 16, 1931 in Stanly County to the late Charles and Johnnie Goodman.
The family will receive friends from 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm, Monday, June 1, 2015, at Oakboro First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary on Monday at 4:00 pm, officiated by Dr. Terrell Watts. Burial will follow at the Oakboro Cemetery at North Main Street, Oakboro.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Bea Goodman; daughter, Renee Watkins (Bobby); son, Brian Goodman (Betty); daughter, Carol G. Kiker; daughter, Kimberly D. Goodman; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was a kind and generous person to all. He was a member of Oakboro First Baptist Church and served in the United States Navy.

The family will be at the home of daughter, Renee, for friends to visit.
