Jack Mcghee

Jack McGhee, 71, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Jack was born February 17, 1948 to the late Jack McGhee Sr. and the late Martha Faulk McGhee. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his step-daughter, Rhonda Denise Medford.

Jack enjoyed bass fishing and older cars. He was a very personable person with a bigger than life personality.  Jack was a great cook, and an awesome dancer.  He was associated with several shag clubs and enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach to dance.  After retirement, his biggest pleasure was sitting out in the garage watching the world go by and waiting on the neighborhood pups to come and get their treats.  He was a wonderful husband, and a wonderful dad, and grandfather.  He was very proud of his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 3 - 6 pm, Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.

Survivors include wife, Elizabeth McGhee; daughter, Jacqueline Nicole (Chadwick) Blackmon, grandson, Daniel (Ava) Lopez; granddaughter, Ariel Nicole Lopez; grandson, Coleman Lopez, Step-son, Darryl Ledbetter; sister, Janice (David Glaze) Glaze.
