Jackson Smith

Jackson Hoover Smith, 82, of 185 Wilkinson Court Concord passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Universal Healthcare in Concord. He was born on November 11, 1928 in Cabarrus County to the late Fred Jackson and Nellie Leona Hudson Smith. He was also preceded in death by his 1st wife Voneva Smith, his 2nd wife Esther Smith and a sister Faydene Smith Hinson. Mr. Smith worked in maintenance at The Dog Race Track in Florida. There will be no services at this time. He is survived by his sister, Roberta Smith Shoe of Concord; nieces and nephews Dene Sapp Mason and husband Larry, Jimmy Sapp and fiancé Deborah Penninger of Concord, Richard Shoe and wife Patti of Mt, Pleasant and Dale Shoe of Concord; brother-in-law, Brice Hinson of Crescent City FL; several great-nieces and nephews.
