Jacob Hatley

Jacob "Jake" Adam Hatley, 23 years of age, of New London, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare Systems - Main in Charlotte.
Jake was born June 6, 1993 in Cabarrus County to Ronald Lee Hatley and Kathy Marlene Whitley Hatley. He was also preceded in death by his materal grandparents, Archie and Betty Whitley; paternal grandparents, Bill Hatley and Nina Drake Hatley; and aunt, Kitty Hatley.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Monday, December 12, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie and Kathy Hatley of Albemarle, he is survived by his fiancée, Megan Wilburn of New London; 9 month old daughter, Lillian Mae Hatley; daughter, Autumn Raine Wilburn; brothers, Josh and Rob Hatley, both of Albemarle.
Jake loved his children with all his heart. He enjoyed fishing and riding 4-wheelers. Jake was wide-open and lived life to the fullest. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
