Jacqueline Sutton

Jacqueline Lee Sutton, 84 years of age, of Concord, NC went to meet her Lord on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System NorthEast in Concord.
Jackie was born March 13, 1932 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Elmer Howes and the late Hermine H. Lowe. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Patricia.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Carl Sutton of Concord, NC; sons, Steven Sutton and wife Vivian of Denver, CO, Michael Sutton and wife Sheri of Boulder, CO and Jeff Sutton and wife Peggy of Concord, NC; seven grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
Her favorite past time was sitting and watching the birds outside her window with lifelong soul mate, her husband Carl. Jackie enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending quality time with her family.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The graveside service will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Forest Lawn West Cemetery at 4601 Freedom Dr., Charlotte, officiated by Rev. R.J. Hammond.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County; Special Olympics of Cabarrus County; or a charity of your choice.
