Jahala Mcclure

Jahala McClure, 74 years of age, of Concord, NC passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Pruitt Health Town Center in Harrisburg, NC.

Ms. McClure was born October 4, 1940 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Merlin Worth Morris and the late Exie Lucille Morris.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Calvin Jerome McClure and her brother Merlin Douglas Morris.

Survivors include her son Roger Keith McClure of Concord; two special grandchildren Kayla and McKenzie McClure (Melissa) all of Concord; brother Robert Morris of Salisbury, NC; sister Trina Morris-Barnhardt of Concord; as well as two dear sisters-in-law, Joyce Norris (Larry) and Rachel Steele (Guy).

Jahala owned and operated Kut 'n Kurl Beauty Shop since 1964. She and her husband Calvin loved to camp and travel, and were proud members of Thousand Trails Campground Resorts. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, May 15, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 16 at 1:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Concord. Interment will take place at a later date at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 73 in Concord.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Pruitt Health Town Center Hospice.
