James Alexander

James Leon Alexander, 85, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Carolinas Medical Center - Northeast. Mr. Alexander was a veteran of the US Navy. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO. James was born on April 18, 1927, to the late James Albert Alexander and Nola Elzada Looney Alexander in Dunklin County Missouri. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Fay Laverne Fry Alexander; two sons, James Alexander of Alexandria, VA and Thomas Alexander of Dellwood, MN; two daughters, Susan Lewis of Dellwood, MN and Janet Frazier of Davidson, NC. Memorials may be made to James L. Alexander Scholarship For Excellence, c/o City of Tempe, 140 East Fifth Street #150, Tempe, AZ 85281.
