James Huneycutt

James Allen Huneycutt, 41, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his home.

Allen was born April 26, 1979 in Guilford County to Jimmy Allen Huneycutt and the late Ginger Scarlett Huneycutt. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James and Cara Mae Huneycutt; maternal grandparents, Mac and Mildred Burleson; and nephew, Jonathan Huneycutt.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, March 26, 2021 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, 522 North Second Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.

He is survived by his father, Jimmy Allen Huneycutt; sister, Jennifer Cornwell; nephews, Devin and Chandler Cornwell; and great-nephews, Kingston and Xavier Cornwell.

Allen was very adventurous and active person, who loved outdoor sports. He was a member of Bible Missionary Baptist Church, and devoted 12 years to serving the Lord as a missionary.
