James Austin

James Harold Austin, age 74, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. He was a cook at Log Cabin and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He attended First Assembly Church. He is survived by his brother Thurman Austin of Albemarle, NC. He was preceded in death by his father Clayton James Austin and his mother Margaret Freeman Austin. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle from 6:00-8:00 PM. A service will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 at 11:00 AM Graveside at the US National Cemetery in Salisbury, NC. Military Honors will be performed by US Marine Corps.
