James Blackwelder

James W. Blackwelder, 70, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Accordius Health of Concord Nursing Home.

Jams was born March 6, 1950 in Concord to the late Clyde and Alice Blackwelder.

James worked as a mechanic for many years, which brought him much happiness.  He married Rebecca and to this union came three handsome sons.  James, Rebecca and family lived in Mount Pleasant, NC.

James is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Rebecca Blackwelder; three sons, Terry, Dale, and Benny; six beautiful grandchildren, which he loved dearly; sister, Janice (Howard) Honeycutt; and brother, Rick (Rosie) Blackwelder.

The memorial service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Hartsell Funeral Home's Concord Chapel.
