James Burris

James "Jimmy" Curtis Burris, age 63, of 24753 Kates Dr.,Albemarle, NC died at Carolinas Medical Center - Northeast, Concord, NC on March 10, 2010. He was born April 5, 1946 in Albemarle to Frances T. Burris and the late George Curtis Burris. He is also survived by his wife Jane J. Burris, son Brian Burris, Rockwell, NC, daughter Tammy Helms, Locust, NC, sister Sue Burris, New London, NC, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was a car detailer in Albemarle and loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was a member of Stony Hill United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held Friday, March 12 from 6 - 8 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle. The service will be held Saturday, March 13 at 2:00 PM at Stony Hill United Methodist Church - Albemarle. Rev. Lanny Lancaster will officiate the service. Interment will be at the church cemetery. The family will be meeting at his home. Memorials may be made to Stony Hill United Methodist General Fund, 28996 Stony Hill Rd., Albemarle, NC 28001.
