James Crisco

James L Crisco, 78, of Midland, NC, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, at his home. Mr. Crisco was born October 24, 1931, in Union County. He was preceded in death by his father, Fate Crisco; mother, Maggie Morton Crisco; brother, Robert Lee Crisco; and great-grandson, Trever Adam Crook. He worked in the shipping department of Charlotte Pipe and Foundry in Charlotte, Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland, 6 – 8 p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, 2:00, in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, Midland, Rev. Wayne Austin and Rev. Steve Triplett officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Lawyers Road, Charlotte. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Love Crisco of the home; daughter, Donna Huneycutt of Oakboro; grandchildren, Ricky Shane Hill of Albemarle and Brandy Marie Crook of Monroe; great-grandchild, Hanna Marie Crook; and sister, Bertha Melton of Burlington.
