James Fink

James Hartsell Fink, 89 years of age, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Friday, November 1, 2013 at Big Elm Retirement & Nursing Center in Kannapolis. Hartsell was born January 4, 1924 in Matador, TX to the late James Harper Fink and the late Lillie Hartsell Fink . He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Irene Fink Cope and Dorothy Fink. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Monday, November 4, 2013 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be at 2:00 pm in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel. The burial will follow at the New Gilead Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the NC Honor Guard. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home, 3700 St. Stephens Church Rd., Mt. Pleasant. He is survived by his brother, Norman Fink of Mt. Pleasant; niece, Judy Cope Sachs and husband Dr. Philip Sachs of Belleair, FL; nephew, Robert Lee Cope, Jr. and wife Judith of Concord; great nephew, Robert Lee Cope, III and wife Ripple Kakkar of Los Angeles, CA; and two great great nephews, Ajay Cope and Dhillon Cope. Hartsell was a retired dairy farmer and served his country honorably in the Army during WWII. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Fink family.
