James Fowler, Sr
August 21, 1923 — April 11, 2016
Mr. James William Fowler, Sr, 92, of Crescent Heights, Concord, NC entered into his rest at Carillon of Harrisburg, NC on April 11, 2016.
He was the son of the late Edward and Alma Fowler of Abbeville, SC. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Milton and Calvin; sister, Iris; and his youngest son, Gary.
He was the beloved husband of Glenna Henley Fowler. They celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary on April 10, 2016.
He is also survived by his daughter, Brenda Fowler of North Wilkesboro, NC; his sons, James W. Fowler, Jr (Peggie) of Lithia Springs, GA and Edward A. Fowler (Joy) of McCormick, SC; seven grandchildren, Shari, Cindy, Clark, Brent, Andrew, Tripp and Aaron and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, NC.
Service and burial will be Friday, April 15, 2016 at 12:00 pm, with a visitation one hour prior, at Hatchers Funeral Home of Langley, SC
