James Kent

James Gardiner Kent, 64, of Concord, NC passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Jim was born April 6, 1955 in Perth Amboy, NJ to the late Ronald Omar Kent and the late Barbara Jane Logan Kent.

Survivors include his wife, Joy Howie Kent; daughter Angela Ellington and husband Daniel; daughter Shannon Caldwell and husband Christian; grandchildren Amber Byrd and husband Brandon, Stephanie Ellington, Luke Ellington, Gabriel Caldwell, Isaiah Caldwell and Lydia Caldwell; great grandchildren Madison, Vana and JP; sister Barbara Robenolt; brother Ronnie Kent; and sister Carolyn Robinette and husband Tim; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 at 6:30 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel in Concord, officiated by Pastor Thant McManus.

Memorial donations may be made in Jim's memory to The Father's Heart Prison Ministries.
