James Haywood

James Lee Haywood, 74 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 in Oakboro.

"Jimmy" was born October 17, 1939 in Davidson County to the late Raeford Lee Haywood and the late Lois Tussey Haywood.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Nathan Fox and Rev. Jim Yow, will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 21, 2014 at Central United Methodist Church, 172 North Second Street, Albemarle, NC. Burial will follow at Norview Gardens.

He is survived by daughter, Kim Huckabee and husband, Lee of Albemarle; son, Chris Haywood and wife, Leah of North Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Will, Reid, Mia and Margaret Huckabee, and Amber and Anthony Haywood; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dare Efird and husband, Lamar and Ann Rawlinson and husband, Jerry.
