James Roy Ritchie, III, 35 of Martinsburg, WV passed away Monday, February 11, 2013. The family will receive friends at Good Shepherd Ministries 282 Church Street Concord on Saturday, February 16, 2013 from 12 until 2 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM at the church, with Pastor Adam Burgess officiating. A private family burial will be held at The Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date. James was born on November 11, 1977 in Cabarrus County. He served in the US Navy. He is survived by his mother, Helen Maxwell of Concord; father, James Ritchie, Jr. of Murrells Inlet, SC; step mother, Teresa Harbin of Murrells Inlet, SC; sisters, Brandy Sechrest and Melissa Ritchie; nieces and nephew, Malakye and Isabelle Sechrest and Elleah Benfield.
