James Eben Kimrey, Jr. "J.E.", 66 years of age, of Norwood, passed away Thursday, October 1, 2015 at W. G. Bill Hefner VA Medical Center - Community Living Center in Salisbury.
J.E. was born August 20, 1949 in Stanly County to James Eben Kimrey, Sr and the late Betty Lee Kimrey.
Friends and relatives are welcome anytime at the home of James Eben Kimrey, Sr. Friends and relatives may also pay their respects by visiting Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle between noon on Saturday, October 3 and noon on Sunday, October 4. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Hudson Cemetery, Swaringen Road in Norwood officiated by Rev Ron Dry.
Survivors include, in addition to his father, sister, Carolyn Biles and husband Eddie of Mount Gilead, nieces, Jennifer Carter and husband Ashley, Summer Jolly and husband Josh, great niece, Ava Carter and great nephews Henry Carter and Kase Jolly.
