James Leslie

James  Leslie, 57, of New London, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Carolinas HealthCare System Stanly in Albemarle.

Mr. Leslie was born January 4, 1961 in San Diego County, CA to the late Richard George Leslie and the late Juanita Ussery Leslie. He was also preceded in death by a son, Jason Brantley; and a granddaughter, Skylar Brantley.

Family will receive friends at 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Freedom Tabernacle Baptist Church, 8348 Fork Road, Norwood.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM in the church sanctuary officiated by Rev. Johnny Leslie.

Survivors include son, James David Leslie and wife Jessie of Summerville, SC; grandchildren, Rylan Brooks Brantley, Lacey Mae Brantley, James David Leslie, Jr. and Calvin Brett Leslie; brothers, Ric Leslie, Tommy Leslie and wife Jodie, Charles Leslie, Robert Leslie and wife Susan, and Johnny Leslie and wife Terri.
