James Mabry

James Larry Mabry, age 63 of Richfield, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Blue Ridge Healthcare Center of Raleigh. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 5 until 7 pm. The funeral service will be held at Prospect Baptist Church on Saturday, February 25th at 2 pm following a 30 min. state, with Rev. Stoney Benfield officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Graveside rites will be performed by The Stanly County DAV Chapter #12. Mr. Mabry was born on October 10, 1948 in Stanly County to Irma Lee Luther Mabry and the late James Craig Mabry. He was also preceded in death by a grandson Will Dunn. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Audrey Woodle Mabry of the home; sons, James Larry “Jamie” Mabry II and wife Wendy of Gold Hill, Nicholas Mabry and wife Michelle of OBX; mother, Irma Mabry of Norwood; grandchildren, Brandon, Megan, Tenessa, Cameron, Destiny, Kaden, Taylor; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Elaine Smith of Albemarle, Becky Rollins of Mt.
