James Matthews

James Thomas Matthews, age 52, of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Mr. Matthews was born October 28, 1960 to the late Audrey Hooks. In addition to his mother he is also preceded in death by wife, Shelly Matthews. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. A graveside service will be held at West Concord Cemetery on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 3:00pm. He is survived by two daughters, Misty Gilbert and Amy Leonard; three sons, Ronnie Ghent, Michael Ghent and Kevin Ghent; eighteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
