James Mcclure

James Edward McClure, 75, of Cabarrus County, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011, at CMC-Northeast in Concord. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Sunday, January 1, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012, at Friendship Baptist Church, 9360 Oak Grove Road, Stanfield, NC. at 2:00 p.m. Rev Clint Lewey will officiate. James was born on October 18, 1936, in Cabarrus County to the late Elmer and Louise McClure. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy McClure and a sister, Mary Furr. He is survived by a son, Robert McClure and wife, Nancy; a stepson, Dale Mauldin; a stepdaughter, Shannon Talent and husband, Roger; six grandchildren, Ashley McClure, Robbie McClure and wife Amber, Amber Moser and husband William, Andy Small, Jason Springer and Macie Talent; eight great-grandchildren, Marissa and Morgan Nalepa, Kaylee and Parker McClure, Tyler and Andrew Moser, Hannah Small and Braydon Springer; a brother, David McClure and wife Phyllis; two sisters, Sue Deese and husband Jerry and Sara Yates and husband Vernon; and his church family at Friendship Baptist Church in Stanfield, NC.
