James Mcinnis

James Eugene “Gene” McInnis, 51, of Midland, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2012. Mr. McInnis was born February 12, 1961 in Pinehurst, N. C., to the late James Franklin McInnis and the late Linda Lou Byrd McInnis. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Scott McInnis. Mr. McInnis was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Harmony Baptist Church in Stanfield officiated by Rev. Jimmie Bartley. He is survived by his daughters, Asha McInnis of Concord and Loren McInnis of Midland and their mother, Judy McInnis; his grandchildren, Malia and Mason Taylor; his sisters, Janet Bates and her husband, Bobby, of Mint Hill, Patti McInnis of Midland, and Karen McInnis of Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the McInnis family.
