James Parker

James Stephenson Parker, 67 years of age, of Richfield, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at his home in Richfield.

Steve was born September 28, 1948 in Stanly County to the late J. Reid Parker and Lillie Mae Poplin Parker.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Mt Zion Lutheran Church-Richfield. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Mt Zion Lutheran Church-Richfield, officiated by Rev. Ruth Ann Sipe . Burial will follow at the Richfield Cemetery.

Survivors include daughter, Kimberly (Greg) Bolton of North Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Kevin (Katie) Parker of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Eddie J. (Jean) Parker of Richfield and Robert L. Parker of Hempstead; three grandchildren, Brody Parker, Lauren and Jacob Bolton.
