James Saunders

James Conway Saunders, 79 years of age, formerly of Concord, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Gaston Courtland Terrace in Gastonia.

James was born May 26, 1934 in North Carolina to the late James Partee Saunders and the late Fredia Mae Saunders. He worked for Terminal Trucking as a driver.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Oak Ridge Baptist. The funeral service will follow at the church Saturday at 12:00 noon, officiated by Rev. Jimmy Hall.

Survivors include spouse, Anise Jearline Saunders of Gastonia, NC; sons, Randy (Janet) Saunders of Concord, NC, Dennis Saunders of Charlotte, NC, Jerry (Angela) King of Gastonia, NC, Ronnie King of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren, Stephanie Magliocca, Dustin Stallings, Rodney Saunders, Benjamin King, and Travis King; sister, Dollie Saunders Gaskey of Concord, NC.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Senior TLC in Gastonia and Dr. Alan Clark.
