James Sherrill

James Harry Sherrill, age 90, of Concord, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at Bethany Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albemarle. Harry was born March 5, 1923 to the late Roy Lafaett Sherrill and the late Annie Sherrill. He was also preceded in death by beloved wife of 49 years, Anna Mae Sherrill who passed away in 1995. He is survived by a son, Jim Sherrill II and wife Brenda of Concord; a grandson, Danny Sherrill and wife Julie of Harrisburg; granddaughter, Sandy Christy and husband Danny of Concord; and great grandsons, Dylan and Landyn Sherrill. Harry proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII, and was a skilled carpenter. The memorial graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Gardens, 1508 Charles Raper Jonas Hwy, Mt. Holly, NC 28120 on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00pm. Military Honors will be conducted by the NC Honor Guard. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home of his son Jim.
