James Stroud

James Calvin  Stroud, 93, of Charlotte, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

James was born November 28, 1928, in South Carolina to the late Lucas May Stroud and the late Molly Stroud.
He was also preceded in death by his brother David Stroud and his sister Mariam Ratliff.

Survivors include wife, Shirley Garnett Stroud; son, Don (Jan) Stroud of Charlotte, NC; and granddaughter Beth(Daniel) Gillahan of Charlotte, NC.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 2:45 pm, Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the Jeff Hartsell Memorial Chapel officiated by Roger Woodell. The Burial will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery at 501 Statesville Blvd., Salisbury.
