James "Jim" Shultz

James "Jim" Alan Shultz, 60, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at home in Concord.

Jim was born July 24, 1961 in Pennsylvania to the late John Ralph Shultz Sr. and the late Joann Shultz.
He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law Thomas Everett Clark.

Jim Shultz was a man of God, he loved his family, and never met a stranger. He held a lot of titles including loving husband, dad (father figure to many), pawpaw, best friend, a leader, a mentor, and a jokester. Jim was proud of a lot of things but most of all he was proud of his children. He and his wife together instilled in them "the 7 P's", unconditional love to all, GRIT, the word of God, and so much more. He spent most of his time in the yard planting trees and growing vegetables, he grew a lot of things but most importantly grew relationships with everyone who crossed his path. He loved his wife and she will always remember him for how hard he worked, his dedication to his marriage and family, and how he never stopped until the Lord called him home.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:45 pm, Monday, October 25, 2021 at West Concord Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 pm officiated by Rev. Mike Farley and Pastor Henry Lee.

Survivors include loving wife who have been together for 32 years, Teresa Shultz of Concord, NC, daughter, Heather Medlin and husband Ray; granddaughter, Hayley Mesmer; son, James Alan Shultz II and wife Brittany, and son, Matthew Evertt Shultz.
