Jamie Catherine Love, 89 years of age, of Monroe, passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 at Jesse Helms Nursing Center in Monroe.
Catherine was born April 1, 1925 in Mecklenburg County to the late Gratt Wilson Scott and the late Carrie Maye Scott. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Love; son, Ronnie Love; and brother, Norman Scott.
The funeral service will be on Thursday, February 12 at 1:00 PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Monroe officiated by Rev Joey Query. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, 6223 Love Mill Rd., Monroe.
She is survived by daughters, Cathy (David) Monroe of Monroe, and Dawn Tadlock (Jim) of Matthews; four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
