Jane Deck

Jane Crowell Deck went to be with the Lord on September 7, 2014.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at Hopewell Baptist Church, Legacy Campus at 2 pm, officiated by Dr. Lee Pigg. Family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:30 pm at Hopewell Legacy Campus.

Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Deck.

Born October 30, 1939 the daughter of the late Guthrie and Varnie Crowell.

She leaves behind to remember her journey of love children, Shan Mullis and husband Jimmy, Scott Linker and wife Angie; grandchildren, Amber Harrington and husband Michael, Travis Mullis, Megan Sedberry and husband Adam, A1C Hunter Linker, Randall Linker, Trisha Deck; great-grandchildren, Cayson Harrington, Bohdie Harrington, and Justus Harrington; Fred's children, Bruce Deck and wife Bonnie, Vickie Deck Deese; brother, John Crowell and wife Maxine; the ladies of Mary's class at Hopewell, and extended family and friends.

Friendships were a treasure to mom as evidenced by the overwhelming love and support shown to her and the family during her illness and last days.

If there is a flower garden in heaven mom will be caring for it just as she did the people whose lives she touched.

Jane retired from Lifetouch National School Studios after 25 years of service. After retiring she loved to work in her flowers, travel with friends and being outdoors in the sunshine enjoying all the blessings God gives.
