Jane Hopkins

Jane Catherine Burnette Hopkins, 67 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at her home. Jane was born May 17, 1946 in Cabarrus County, NC to the late Theodore Jackson Burnette and the late Ruby Lee Yow Burnette. She was also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Hopkins; and brothers, Charles and "Dude" Burnette. There are no services at this time. She is survived by her sons, Robert Hopkins and wife Angie of Stanfield, and Danny Hopkins and wife Rhonda of Midland; sisters, Vicky Helms and husband Benton of Stanfield, and Mary Page and husband Hubert of Midland; brother, Johnny Burnette and wife Jackie of Stanfield; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren,. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Ave., Charlotte, NC 28207 and Hospice of Stanly County, 960 North First St., Albemarle, NC 28001. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Hopkins family.
