Jane Lorch

Jane Evelyn Hinson Lorch, age 80 of Albemarle, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Spring Arbor of Albemarle. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Wednesday, April 25 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, April 26, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with a 30 minute state, officiated by Dr. Wayne Bennett. Burial will follow at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church Cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at the home of her daughter, Sharon McNeill, Carolina Forest, 321 Salisbury Drive, Troy, NC 27371. Mrs. Lorch was born in Stanly County on May 23, 1931, to the late John Spurgeon Hinson and the late Annie Mae Crayton Hinson. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Aaron Lee Lorch, in 2001. She is survived by a son, Richard Lee Lorch of Charlotte, NC; three daughters, Sharon McNeill and husband Glenn of Troy, NC, Kathy MacNish and husband Patrick of Sanford, NC and Donna Jo Taylor of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, Billy Wayne Hinson of Oakboro, NC and Boyd Lee “Bud” Hinson of Portland, OR; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Lorch was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and Christian. She loved traveling, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to express a “special thanks” to personal caretakers, Judy Misenheimer, Kathy Schiske Nearhood, and Sandra Furr, as well as, Spring Arbor of Albemarle and Woodhaven Court of Albemarle.
