Jane Pampas

Jane Litaker Pampas, age 90, of Concord, passed away Monday, September 25, 2017 at home with family by her side.

Jane was born July 8, 1927 in Cabarrus County to the late Murl and Faye Litaker. She was also preceded in death by beloved husband, Andrew Joseph Pampas; son, Andrew "Bobo" III; grandson, Matthew Kiser; and brother, Murl Litaker, Jr.

Jane was the sweetest lady you'd ever meet. Jane was a member of St. James Reformed Church. Throughout her life, she was very involved with church. Jane enjoyed making pulled mints and baking. She loved and cared for all her "babies." Grandmama opened her heart and home to her family and helped us all create so many good memories together. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Those left to treasure her memory include daughter, Anna (Gary) Kiser; daughter, Jennie (Michael) Wood; four grandchildren, Amy (Bryan) Kelly, Heather (Chad) Howell, Andy (Kim) Pampas and Lori "Sis" (Dexter) Ledbetter; and five great-grandchildren, Easton, Morgan, Brystol, Sylas and Kyser; her sweet puppy, Zena "Sugah;" and "extended family" Kenneth, Joellyn, Katellyn and Trevor Padgett.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2017. The family will receive friends from 1:00- 2:30 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home, Concord. Jane will be laid to rest during a graveside service at 3:00 pm, Oakwood Cemetery, Concord, officiated by Rev. Beau Linker. ENS Ledbetter is proud to serve as urnbearer.

The Pampas family would like to express their sincere thanks to Hospice of Cabarrus County and Angie Clontz, who was a very special caregiver and friend.
