Janet Lee Pope Hornsby, 60, of Albemarle, passed away on June 1, 2017 at her residence in Albemarle, NC.
She was born on March 23, 1957 to the late Harse Lee and Mabel (Spangler) Pope in Hillsborough County, FL.
Janet is survived by her loving spouse of 32 years Robert Hornsby; three daughters, Nancy and Jessica Hornsby of Albemarle, and Christina Gurney of FL; two brothers, Mikel Pope and Steven Pope of Albemarle; sister, Melinda Mann of Beattyville, KY; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 4, 2017, 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm at New London Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 5:00 pm, with Rev. Otis Goins officiating.
Burial will take place at a later date in Norview Gardens.
