Janet Marie Elizabeth Sanders

Janet Marie Elizabeth Burgess Sanders, 67, of Harrisburg, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus Hospital in Concord.

Mrs. Sanders was born April 12, 1956 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Ned Eugene Burgess and the late Ann Hudacheck Burgess.

She was also preceded in death by her brother Micheal Burgess as well.

Janet was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and soul and did whatever she could, within her power, to help them.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Harrisburg United Methodist Church in Harrisburg, officiated by Rev. Frederick Bowman.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Edgar Sanders of Harrisburg, NC, son, Nicholas James Sanders also of Harrisburg, son, Christopher Thomas Sanders of Mt. Pleasant, NC and her grandchildren Saige, Aiden, SaRayah and Harper Sanders.
