Janice Dyer

Janice Lee Dyer (Memaw) of Locust, NC passed away Monday, September 16, 2019 at the age of 87.
Janice (Jan) was born on January 18, 1932 in Milton, WV to the late James and Eva Kinder.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Cdr. Robert Deane Dyer,
son Jeffrey Deane Dyer and granddaughter, Savannah.
Jan is survived by her Sister, Jane Ray and her husband, Mendel and
sons, Robert Lee Dyer and wife, Susan of Canton, GA and Mark Alan Dyer and wife, Shelby of Locust, NC.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Breeze, Cody, Heather, Joshua, Brandy, Justin, Anthony and 16 great-grandchildren.

After attending Marshall University, she worked in Washington, DC at the Pentagon,
and it was then she met her husband, Bob.
They loved traveling, the outdoors, and sailing. They loved each other.
She will be laid to rest in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA alongside her husband, Bob.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
