Janie Ford

Janie Marie Whitley Ford, 60, of 338 Office Drive SW, Concord, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at CMC NorthEast. She was born on September 1, 1950 in Stanly County to J.V. Burris Whitley, of Concord and the late J.V. Whitley. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 7:00 until 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 in the chapel of Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord at 11:00 am with Rev. Kevin Ford officiating. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis. At other times, the family will be meeting at the home. She is preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Whitley and sister, Della Mae Whitley. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Hartford Lee Ford, of the home; sons, Rev. Kevin Ford and wife, Delaine, of Belmont and Jeffrey Ford, of Concord; brother, Bobby Whitley, of Concord; sister, Susie Biggers, of Concord; grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon, Zachary, and Anna Grace Ford.
