Jared Bruce

Jared Michael “Jetz” Bruce, 18, of Concord, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2012, at Carolinas Medical Center - Northeast. Jared was best known for his contagious smile; He was ALWAYS POSITIVE!! He enjoyed music, making beats, and entertaining friends on Facebook. He was notorious for his YouTube videos. He was a mentor to his younger brother Marcuss Bruce…always introducing him to his friends, his hobbies, and his ideas. He was protective of and watchful over his two sisters Sacoya and Allela…always looking out for them. Jared Brought the Brooklyn Swag to North Carolina! He was loved and adored by his friends and family and will be forever missed! The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Thursday, April 5, 2012, from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be at Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg. Jared was born on November 5, 1993, to Cirtian Bruce and Remara Parks Dawson. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his father, David Dawson; three brothers, Marcuss Bruce, St. Clair Bruce and Jermain Bruce; four sisters, Sacoya Staten, Allela B., Tracy Bruce and Camille Bruce; grandmothers, Christian Griffith and Lizzie Parks; and a host of aunts and uncles. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Bruce family.
