Jason Andrew “The Rock” Lee, Age 29 of 103 Hillcrest Road passed away on November 14, 2009 at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, W.Va. Born in Davidson County, NC on May 12, 1980, he was a son of Sandra Yerdon of New London and Ronald Gary Lee, Jr. of High Point. He is survived by brothers; Nathan Lee and Jeremy Yerdon both of New London, maternal grandmother, Edith Vaughn of Thomasville and maternal grandfather, Frank Davis of Trinity, paternal grandfather, Ronald Gary Lee, Sr. of High Point. He was preceded in death by his stepfather Gerald Yerdon. Jason was a graduate of West Montgomery high School where he played football and wrestled, and belonged to the Beta Club. He served in the US Army for 6 years. You could feel his loving and tender manner through his blue eyes and his smile. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle from 6 until 8. Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 19, 2009 in Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel at 11 AM. Rev. Donnie Lunsford, Brother Dave Black, Brother James McAebee and Mr. Tommy Ashburn will officiate. The family will meet at the home of his mother, 103 Hillcrest Road, New London.
