Jasper Morgan

Jasper David "JD" Morgan, 76 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Stanly Manor in Albemarle. JD was born May 29, 1937 in Stanly County to the late Charlie Morgan and the late Lurlie Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Morgan. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by, Rev. Kevin Munson will be in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 4:00 pm. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Julia Ann Sides Morgan; sons, Tim "TJ" Morgan and wife, Catherine, Gary Morgan and wife, Melissa and Tony Morgan and wife, Devonna of Albemarle; seven grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a special friend, Charlie.
