Jean Daly

Doris Jean (Barbee) Daly, age 78, of 300 Garrison Dr. Albemarle, N.C., died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle, N.C. She was born August 6, 1930 in Stanly County, NC. Mrs. Daly was employed by A T & T of New York as Office Manager and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Albemarle The family will meet at her home. She was the daughter of the late Bruner Eli Barbee and the late Bessie Lorene (Cooper) Barbee Burleson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Zona Hatley and a brother, Carol Barbee. She is survived by her Son-James Marc Daly and wife Kristin of Charlotte, N.C. Sister-Jessie Smith of Wilmington, N.C. Arrangements are being handled by Hartsell Funeral Home - Albemarle, P. O. Box 7, Albemarle, N.C.Funeral service will be at Christ Episcopal Church, 428 Pee Dee Ave, Albemarle at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2009 , Rev. Dr. James Bernacki officiating.
