Jean Carol Starnes, Age 72 of 1916 Woodhaven Dr. #1, Albemarle, NC 28001, passed away on October 17, 2009 at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast in Concord. Born in Union county on May 21, 1937. Jean Carol Starnes was preceded in death by her mother- Grace Starnes, her father- Hector Ware Starnes. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2009 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. Funeral service will held on Wednesday,October 21, 2009 at 11:00 AM at First Street United Methodist Church, Albemarle with the ministers Rev. Virginia Herrin officiating. Burial will follow at Prospect UMC Cemetery, Monroe, NC. Jean Carol Starnes was survived by her sons- Timothy Williams, Sr. of Knoxville TN, David Williams, Jr. of Norwood NC, her grandchildren- Dave Williams III of Charlotte NC, Lauren Williams of Charlotte , Timothy Williams, Jr. of Knoxville , Nicholas Williams of Knoxville , Ethan Williams of Knoxville , Caleb Williams of Knoxville , her sister- Jane & husband Ralph Trull of Monroe NC, her brother- Baxter & wife Gwen Starnes of Waxhaw NC.
