Jeanette Burd

Jeanette Kathleen Burd, 94, of Concord, NC (formerly of Plainwell, Michigan), passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Transitional Health Care in Kannapolis, NC. Jeanette was born July 15, 1918 in Plainwell, Michigan, to the late Emery Witt and the late Grace Ann Witt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Verl Vernis Burd; daughter, Wanda Burd; brothers Don, Carl, Leonard, Clarence, Reon, and Gordon Witt; and sister Justine Anders. Survivors include sons; Lou Burd and wife, Ralaine of Concord and Pete Burd and wife, Dee of Charleston, SC; one daughter, Glenda Walters and husband Duane of Marshall, MI and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Burd family.
