Jeanette Hinson

Jeanette Hinson, 77 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015 at her residence

Jeanette was born February 20, 1938 in Albemarle to the late Henry and Elsie Drye Thomas. A daughter Debbie Ann Clontz and a brother Jerry Thomas preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Love's Grove United Methodist Church in Stanfield. The funeral service will follow in the church at 11:00 am officiated by Rev. Jim White and Rev. Coy Blackman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Survivors include her husband C.J. Hinson Jr.; son, Joe Hinson of Stanfield; daughter, Cathy Hinson Clontz and husband Alan of Monroe; three grandchildren Crystal Watkins and Michael and DJ Clontz; three great grandchildren Gabriel and Trinity Robinson and Adrian Watkins; two brothers Howard Thomas and Ronnie Thomas both of Oakboro.

Jeanette was a member of Love's Grove United Methodist Church and was a dedicated church worker. She had retired from the Allison Mfg. Company.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to granddaughter, Crystal Watkins, Deanna Rorie, Candace Phillips, Delorce Tomberlin, Kerigan Munn, and Carolyn Munn; the nurses of Community Homecare and Hospice of Troy, Melissa Barringer-aide, Mandy Harless-RN, Janice Williams-LPN, Jennifer Miree-BSW, MS, and Misty McAden-Chaplain.
