Jeanette Houser

Jeanette "Nett" Houser, 72, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Houser was born January 17, 1941 to the late William and Eunice Michael. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her brother, Bill Michael. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Tim Yates and Rev. Rex Burleson, will be held at Eastside Missionary Baptist Church, 199 Elgin Court, Concord, NC on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:00pm. Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery in Concord. The body will lay in state 30 minutes prior to the service. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Robert Houser; three daughters, Linda Johnson of Conover, Darlene Lowman and husband Ted of Maiden and Debbie Smith of Lincolnton; step-daughter, Teresa Kistler and husband Phil of Lincolnton; three step-sons, Bobby Houser and wife Donna of Lincolnton, Robert Houser, Jr. of Lincolnton and Tommy Houser and wife Melody of Concord; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord is serving the Houser family.
