Jeanette Morton

Lois Jeanette Huneycutt Morton, 82 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. Jeanette was born July 27, 1931 in Stanly County to the late Paul Elias Huneycutt and the late Hattie Huneycutt. She was also preceded in death by her son, David Anthony Morton. The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 1:00 PM on Friday, February 21, 2014, at Hartsell Funeral Home in Albemarle. The funeral service officiated by Rev. Joe Smith, will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 21, 2014 in Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle. Burial will follow at the Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 22182 Canton Rd., Albemarle. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Morton of Albemarle; daughter, Connie Morton-Ewbank of Lowell, MA; one grandson, Isaac Morton.
