Jeanette Rushing

Jeanette Earp Rushing, 76 of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Rushing was born December 6, 1936 in Union County to the late Dexter William Earp and Carrie Mae Helms Earp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackson Wayne Rushing. The family will receive friends at Longs Grove Advent Christian Church 8514 Morgan Mill Road Monroe on Saturday, September 21, 2013 from 11 until 12 Noon. Funeral services will follow at 12 pm, officiated by Rev. John Roller officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Advent Christian Church. She is survived by her son, Jeffery Rushing of Monroe; daughter's, Janice Guy of Monroe, NC, and Martha Haigler of Monroe; sister, Ruth Helms of Hartsville; grandchildren, Cameron D. Drake, Tiffany Sims, and Hailey Morgan Rushing; and great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Nathan Drake. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Rushing family.
