Jeffrey Norris

Jeffrey Shane Norris, 57, of Concord, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, December 21, 2019, with his son's and wife by his side.

Norris was born November 12, 1962 in Indiana to Walter Monroe Norris and Lorena Kay Norris.

After graduating from Mooresville High School in 1981, Jeff went on to work for USAir and American Airlines for over 30 years in Indianapolis and Charlotte, NC.
Jeff was always happiest when surrounded by family and friends.  Whether he was kicked back on the couch watching History Channel, creeping through the forest of Hoosier National, or just lounging in Key West, his energy and enthusiasm were infectious to all around him.  Jeff was the kindest, honest, most loving man you could ever meet.  He loved to laugh and joke.  His generous and optimistic nature never once faded.

He is survived by his sons, Shane and Christopher, wife, Cindy and stepdaughters, Kathryn, Sarah and Anna. Also by his parents Walter and Kay Norris, brother, Clint, and sister, Amy.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Friday, December 27, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The funeral service will be on Friday at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord in Concord officiated by Rev. Tim Newton. Burial will follow in West Concord Cemetery.
