Jennie Shoe

Jennie Roberta Shoe, 88, of Concord, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Shoe was born December 1, 1924 to the late Fred and Leona Smith. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by husband, James Shoe; son, Dale Shoe and daughter, Susan Shoe. The family will receive friends at Westford United Methodist Church on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 12:30 until 2:00pm. The funeral service will follow at Westford United Methodist Church on Friday at 2:00pm. Burial will be held at West Concord Cemetery. She is survived by a son Richard Shoe and wife Patti of Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren, Derek Shoe and wife Jessica of Mt. Pleasant, Jana John and husband Drew of Concord and Lauren Shoe of Mt. Pleasant; a great grandson, Isaac Shoe. Memorials may be made to Westford United Methodist Church Youth Group in Memory of Roberta, 276 North Carolina Hwy 49 Concord, NC 28025. Hartsell Funeral Home is serving the Shoe family.
