Jennifer Baucom

Jennifer Joy Baucom, 38, of Morgan Mill Road, Monroe, fell asleep in the Lord Jesus Christ Saturday, March 19, 2010, at her home, and is awaiting the glorious resurrection. Miss Baucom was born July 17, 1972, in Union County. She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Lee Baucom; maternal grandparents Charlie and Ora Rushing Baucom; and paternal grandparents Winfred and Loma Chaney Baucom. Jennifer was a loving person who will be sorely missed by her family and friends. She loved her family, friends and pets with all her heart. The family will receive friends 7 – 9 p.m., Monday, March 21, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The funeral will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Hope Second Advent Christian Church, with a 30 minute state, officiated by Pastor Brent Carpenter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. At other times, the family will meet at her home. Survivors include her mother Joy Baucom and Burton Pelkey; brothers, Joey Baucom and wife, Tammy and Jason Baucom, all of Monroe; niece Lesley Poplin; and nephew, Ellis Baucom.
